The Boston Celtics are looking to close out the month of March after playing defense like Lions. This resurgence was seen especially on the nationally televised game against the Chicago Bulls this past Sunday March 12!
The Celtics pounded the Chicago Bulls making it so they could not score inside or outside during the first two quarters. It was an embarrassing show for the proud franchise once led by Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson that probably will not make the playoffs this season even though they picked up amazing player Dwyane Wade and have a roster of other talents like Jimmy Butler, Robin Lopez, Doug McDermott, Denzel Valentine, Cameron Payne etc. Not to mention solid former Celtic Rajon Rondo. The team could not perform any of their plays as Isaiah Thomas scored effortlessly and the defense put the clamps on anything the Bulls attempted to do. This game showed many that this years Celtics are the Real Deal. The Final score Celtics 100 Bulls 80!
The week continued to roll along in spectacular fashion as they posted 117 points in a win against the Timberwolves and then subdued the Brooklyn Nets 98-95 on St. Patrick's Day!
Of course, the Celtics have a strong chance of a number 1 pot of gold pick as a result of Danny Ainge's masterful move a few years ago as the Nets look like they will end up in the NBA's cellar thus securing top spots for the Celtics.
Things are looking way up for the Boston Celtics as they maneuver through another successful NBA season. Hopefully, Isaiah Thomas recovers well from his knee problems and continues his historic season while the rest of the team picks up the slack. Either way any Celtics fan has to applaud and say "So Far, So Good!"
Go Celtics Go!
